Crossfitter Gets New Car After Meeting Rob at the Barbell

We are delighted to be supplying yet another member of Crossfit OL1 with their brand new car. This time a Seat Arona for one of the newer members who dropped a massive 50kg in just 12 months of training and was recently awarded ‘Member of the Year’ for 2018 given the progress in his fitness and lifestyle during that time.

Taylor is a tea time regular at the Ol1 facility and was looking for a new car at short notice to replace a Ford Fiesta which was nearing the end of the contract.

After a couple of chats between deadlifts and box jumps Taylor, a CAD engineer from Royton decided to entrust Rob to do all the hard work.  We wer able to take the pain out of trying to find a cracking deal combined with stock, tight delivery schedules and even a visit to collect contracts and discuss any queries at his place of work.

The resulting Seat Arona was on Taylors drive within days of ordering and he is delighted with the service, pricing and of course removing hassle using Anthony K Vehicle Leasing. Maserati Levante Delivery For Another Happy Customer

There seems to be a rush for our customers to be looking for premium spec SUVs.  The MD of one of our fleet customer’s  found this beautiful Maserati Levante3.0 V6 Gran Sporte in his local dealership and asked us to sort the funding!

 

With a list price pushing £80,000 it was paramount to use the experience and negotiating power of our Sales Director Rod Hallworth to make the deal work.

Rod was able to push down the price of the vehicle from list price and then, of course, use Anthony K’s broker funding model to gather quotes from 8 vehicle leasing companies before partnering the customer with a Fleet News Top 5 major funder.  The customer decided on Business Contract Hire with full maintenance to ensure hassle-free motoring for the duration of the contract.

The car is cornered with 21inch alloy wheels and finished in Nero Ribelle paint with a Sabbia Leather interior. Options included a panoramic sunroof, privacy glass and chrome front grille.  We think it’s a stunning vehicle and are rightly proud of the deal we sorted for our client.

Rochdale Business Awards Nomination – Community Spirit Award

Anthony K Vehicle Leasing are delighted and honoured to have been nominated for the 2018 Community Spirit Award as part of the annual Rochdale Business Awards.

Tony Nugent who started the business in 1995 from a spare bedroom suggests this could be the result of being a natural networker. Tony is known for never being in the office and simply making time to attend, promote and support local events and businesses.

“We built the business by networking and connecting locally. Naturally this means helping other businesses, attending events, supporting local charities.   As the towns only link to major fleet suppliers such as Leaseplan UK, Hitachi Capital and Arval UK we know we can serve demand locally whilst positively impacting the business environment. We go and see our clients or they can come to our office, meet the team and get a feel for the service they are going to get”

Tony’s most outlandish feat was to spend a day cold calling local businesses dressed as “Springy The Frog” to raise money for Springhill Hospice.  On a cold Friday and along with a number of other members they raised hundreds of pounds along with plenty of eyebrows on the way!

Tony is a regular attendee at Chamber of Commerce and Springhill Hospice Business Buddies which has grown to over 50 regular contributors and regular networking for its supporters.  He has also recently been involved assisting local high schools by providing talks to their pupils about running a business.

He also supports local open nights for members of the public to look at running a home based business franchise whilst maintaining their employment or business.

The annual ceremony held at the majestic Town Hall on November 9th.  The event will be attended by hundreds of local business owners, sponsors and supporters from across the borough.   We are proud of everything Tony does and of course wish all nominees the very best of luck.  Many of our customers will be there on the night we are looking forward to catching up!

St Johns Primary Gets New Minibus

St Johns Primary School in Rochdale have recently taken delivery of their 2nd minibus from local leasing broker Anthony K Vehicle Leasing.  St Johns are one of a number of schools moving to minibus leasing to get great pricing for brand new, safe and efficient school transport.

With ever changing legislation and Anthony K advised on vehicle size, number of passengers and of course the best way of funding a brand new Ford Transit Bus to transport small parties of pupils to events across the borough.

The school chose a full maintenance contract which included tyres and all servicing, maintenance needs for the duration of the contract in order to reduce the admin burden of keeping a vehicle up to date, safe and working.

Teacher Impressed With Simple Service

When a Stockport teacher was referred to Anthony K Vehicle Leasing by a relative she wasn’t anticipating it being an easy process.  She had a demanding full-time job and no real interest in cars except the daunting task of needing to replace an ageing Mini Cooper.   Professionals are often working long hours with no real time to sort out personal things so a quick chat with Rob at Anthony K and further conversations over the coming weeks led to this beautiful car being delivered to her door during the summer holidays.

Initially the script was to find a deal on the Mercedes A-Class.  However at this particular time we found no deals that seemed attractive so immediately widened the search.  Out of the blue a deal was launched on some incoming stock Mercedes GLA AMG Line in a variety of colours.  The deal was just perfect for her!

Rothwells Established in 1947 by Herbert Rothwell the business was bought by Roy Nuttall in 1977 . The firm is now run by Roys son Chris who joined the business in 1992. Rothwells are stockists of Draper Tools and engineering supplies to trade and DIY enthusiasts across branches in Rochdale, Bury, Todmorden and Nelson.

New Model Mitsubishi PHEV Ready For Quoting

Mitsubishi have released details of the Outlander PHEV 2019 MY as below. 

19MY Outlander PHEV benefits from a range of exterior and interior improvements, but the real focus has been on powertrain and mechanical improvements, including an ultra-efficient new 2.4-litre petrol engine. Other improvements include, but are not limited to, increased power and torque (up 11%) enhanced driving dynamics, and more driving modes including a Sport Mode.

Mitsubishi are also pleased to advise that under the new and stringent WLTP tests, 19MY PHEV still manages to achieve excellent fuel economy and emissions. CO2 levels, at 40 g/km (NEDC Correlated)/46 g/km (WLTP), remain comfortably below the 50 g/km level.

So as the summer cools off the motor industry is hotting up for the changes with new emissions tests.

Of course there are going to be winners and losers in the changes!  Winners are looking like those that can take a stock deal in July and August as there are some cracking offers.

Finance Lease is a popular funding option for commercial vehicles or vans where Contract Hire is not always suitable or the best option.

Your business uses the vehicle while paying a rental rather than a repayment. The monthly rental is determined by the initial cost of the vehicle (excluding VAT), the period of the finance lease and the residual value (the estimated future value of the vehicle at the end of the finance lease period once depreciation is taken into account), plus int

  • Minimum capital expenditure
  • Accurate monthly budgeting
  • A fixed interest rate is available on some contracts
  • No damage recharge as you are responsible for disposal of the vehicle

More Information on Finance Lease:

Although you never take ownership, at the end of the finance lease contract a payment equivalent to the residual value is payable. Usually this means that the vehicle is sold and a proportion of the proceeds of the sale are returned to the lessee.

Most finance lease companies will offer a number of payment options to suit your cash flow. You can lower the monthly rental with a balloon payment at the end of the contract, or you can pay the entire cost in monthly rentals (normally referred to as a fully amortised Finance Lease), in which case you may be able to extend the finance lease with a secondary rental (sometimes called a peppercorn rental).
