This Monday saw dealerships open up after nearly 3 months of closure and of course this included welcoming back hundreds of back office, admin and business managers that we deal with on a day to day basis to ensure our customers get the best service possible. We are busy arranging dozens of deliveries to take place over the coming weeks subject to correct and proper procedures that ensure the client and delivery agents are protected with and happy to follow.
We've been open At lockdown, some of our contacts assumed we would be 'business as usual' or even profiting from retail dealers being closed. In many respects we could just relocate our laptops, divert the phones and carry on. However, the major finance houses had to mobilise thousands of staff to work from home and deal with unprecedented customer service enquiries, most of our main dealer contacts being furloughed which restricted our ability to get lots of vital information.
So we have spent a lot of time on hold on behalf of our customers - it must add up to days listening to hold music We are now looking forward to servicing our outstanding orders, delivering the new ones and assessing what our valued clients need over the next few weeks and months from their car leasing broker. Electric Vehicles I expect demand for electric vehicles to increase even more following lockdown.
Vehicles that are parked at home more could be more likely to be smaller, electric vehicles for local trips especially should home working become more permanent for many employees and business owners. Special Deals - the bit you've been waiting for! The lockdown allowed us to get the new website up and running and we have been adding plenty of new deals to pique your interest. T
here are lots of March registered cars to sell as well as a tranche of new offers coming out daily. I know some customers are waiting for some bargains from a struggling industry - to be fair pricing is already low and the deals are good. Factories have been at a standstill so the current backlog will need to shift at current pricing before any further (if any) significant reductions.
